The Clinical Advisory Panel (CAP) meet monthly to discuss and offer advice on complex children and young people who are inpatients currently on a ward which is commissioned by Toucan.

These young people may require bespoke care, placement, and review of their length of stay in out-of-area specialist placements.

CAP focuses on providing clinical expertise in cases that require additional input and a formulation-based approach to avoid disrupted care pathways, identify, and source the right clinical pathways, and bring clinically informed challenges to improve patient outcomes and experience.
