BCHFT: Children Get Creative at Half-Term Workshops

The Reflexions team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, who provide preventative and early intervention and support within education settings for children and young people, hosted a range of workshops which took place in February half term across the Black Country for children, young people and parents.

Over 50 people attended the sessions and took part in a range of workshops where children were able to dance, create and learn about their mental health and strategies to support them.

Additionally, in Wolverhampton, the team also held a webinar around supporting children experiencing anxiety for parents.

One parent commented about her experience of the workshops “We really enjoyed our session at Wolverhampton Art Gallery today. My child told me it was the best day ever a total of four times and their artwork will be proudly displayed at home”.
