Ivetsey Bank Hospital has now opened the door of the Glazewood Unit – a six-bed Assessment and Triage Unit (ATU) for young people that has been commissioned by Toucan, the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative.

This is the first unit of its type in the country.

Toucan, has announced a new investment of more than £19 million to improve mental health support for children and young people across the region. 

It’s Occupational Therapy (OT) Week (3 – 9th November 2025) - a chance to celebrate the profession’s unique role in transforming lives.

This follows a rigorous, transparent and legally compliant commissioning process under the national Provider Selection Regime (PSR).
