Toucan Celebrates the Power of Community with Heartfelt Video for Mental Health Awareness Week

This Mental Health Awareness Week, Toucan (the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative), has released a powerful new video celebrating the people in our communities who support mental health and wellbeing.
The video features heartfelt messages of thanks from individuals to those who have made a positive impact in their lives. From friends and family to professionals and volunteers, it showcases the positive role people play in supporting us.
This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme, “Community”, celebrates and recognises the importance of being part of a supportive network. Connections with others and belonging to a community can be vital for our mental health and wellbeing, especially in challenging times.
Bob Maxfield, Coproduction Lead at Toucan, said:
“The video is a reminder that communities aren’t just places – they’re people.
“For me, I want to thank the young people and families who I work with who have used their voice to bring challenge and real change, as well as helping others on their recovery journey.”
Toucan hopes the video will raise awareness of the important role communities play in supporting our mental health.
